Inspired by the book of the same name

In the first chapter, you start off with one of the bizarre shootings in the Staatsliedenbuurt in Amsterdam. “Shots from machine guns echo through the neighborhood, followed by the sound of shattering glass. In their bloodlust, the shooters simply shoot through their own windshield. Youssef is shot at and collapses fatally in front of a row of doors.”
The series is inspired by the book Mocro Maffia and is therefore fictional. Nevertheless, crime journalist John van den Heuvel says at RTL Late Night that he thinks it is a daring plan. “Because of course you run the risk that people think they recognize themselves in it.”

About the first two episodes of the series Mocro Maffia, the crime journalist says: “I can say that they have succeeded in portraying the atmosphere very well, as well as the violence and actually also the sad existence of a number of mainly young criminals, but that the characters cannot be directly traced back to those who are really pulling the strings at the moment.”

We at First Class were happy to make a modest contribution to Mocro Maffia, all praise for the Cast, Direction and the team of Videoland/RTL.
Curious about Mocro Maffia the series? You can watch it from now on on Videoland ….
